Do you think Mitch would have come back to Morrie's house the second time if he hadn't been semi-idled by the newspaper strike?

I think that Mitch would have come back the second time if he wasn't semi-idled by the strike because, he is just a caring kind of person. He realizes that he might not get the opportunity to visit his old friend before he dies. Mitch just has that nice kind of personality that he knows he can do things about. When Mitch was just meeting Morrie for the first time he was stalling on the phone because he didn't know what he wanted to do about meeting his old professor again. Mitch was willing to get out if the car to go and talk to him even though he could have just drove off and acted like he was a random person stopping because he was lost. Mitch has the common sense that most people need to get more out of the world.
