5. Do you think Mitch would have listened if Morrie hadn't been dying? Does impending death automatically make one's voice able to penetrate where it couldn't before? I think that Mitch would not listen even if Morrie was not dying, because Mitch could have his mind on other stuff besides also think then Morrie was dying. I also think that Mitch would not listen, even though Morrie was dying, because he might have been doing stuff, that took his mind off of the listening to Morrie, do other things besides that. I also think this, because I also think that Mitch could have listened even if Morrie was not dying. A reason why i think that is because Mitch could tune everything out that he was doing and realize that he has to listen to Morrie more often. Also if Morrie was not dying, Morrie should know that if he listens to Morrie he could get more learning if he listened to Morrie if he was not dying.
